Senior Back-End Engineer/ System Architect
Permanent / Lithuania / Vilnius
We’re looking for a Back-End Developer who could be a key part
in developing our Node.js platforms using a modular micro
service based architecture.
In this role, you will be collaborating with fellow Front-end
and Back-end engineers and Product Managers. Working within a
mixed skill pod with other developers you will tackle entirely
new system projects as well as the migration of existing
systems. Everyone at HoomApps is approachable, friendly and

joining us.
Activities
Take the lead where appropriate on technical decisions, implementation choices and initiatives, ensuring good communication and feedback to keep others informed
Contribute to a consensus on standards and principles to strive for the continual improvement of the efficiency and efficacy of the Engineering function
Coach, mentor and encourage more junior team members in both their technical and non-technical competencies
Be an advocate for taking responsibility and ownership of tasks within an environment where people are trusted to work autonomously
Work in a collaborative team spirit with other Engineers and the wider business stakeholders to design and deliver maintainable software solutions according to a solid understanding of business requirements
Efficiently organise and facilitate team meetings
Requirements
NodeJS as a primary language
Strong knowledge and experience of AWS
Familiarity and experience with React would be beneficial
Designing/implementing with RESTful APIs and Microservices
Good communication and time management skills
Positive approach to work and treat others well
Passionate about learning and personal growth
